Bruno Mathsson - Annika Table for Firma Karl Mathsson

This minimalist Annika table was designed by Bruno Mathsson, and features a round teak veneer top and sculptural beech bentwood legs. It is clear by the beautiful simplicity of this design that, inspired by the functionalist movement, Mathsson clearly designed this piece with the words "form follows function" in mind. This table can be used as an occasional table, a tall coffee table, or a short dining table. It was designed by Bruno Mathsson for Firma Karl Mathsson and was produced in Värnamo, Sweden circa 1964. There is also a maker's stamp on underside of the table (see photos for details).
