George Roby Abstract Brush Stroke Patterned Bowl

This handmade pottery piece was expertly studio crafted using the "Raku" firing technique by master potter, George Roby. This bowl is beautifully colored featuring a beige gradient background with abstract maroon and dark yellow brush strokes.

Provenance: Acquired from the personal collection of George Roby - George Roby was a potter and sculptor with works featured in the collections of the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Everson Museum, Butler Institute of American Art, the Columbus Museum of Fine Art, and the Ohio Craft Museum.
