George Roby Dark Beige Abstract Bowl
This handmade pottery piece was expertly studio crafted using the "Raku" firing technique by master potter, George Roby. This small bowl has an abstract, asymmetrical form and is glazed a dark beige that gives an almost metallic sheen in the sunlight.
Provenance: Acquired from the personal collection of George Roby - George Roby was a potter and sculptor with works featured in the collections of the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Everson Museum, Butler Institute of American Art, the Columbus Museum of Fine Art, and the Ohio Craft Museum.

Condition:
The underside of the piece has slight hairline fractures. However, these do not affect the structural integrity nor the beauty of this piece. Otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
