George Roby Green and Beige Bowl
This handmade pottery piece was expertly studio crafted using the "Raku" firing technique by master potter, George Roby. This piece features a beautiful, translucent green glaze that lets the warm beige underneath peak through. Initialed "GR" on the bottom.
Provenance: Acquired from the personal collection of George Roby - George Roby was a potter and sculptor with works featured in the collections of the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Everson Museum, Butler Institute of American Art, the Columbus Museum of Fine Art, and the Ohio Craft Museum.

Condition:
There is a small fissure on the bottom. However, this does not take away from the beauty or structural integrity of this piece. Otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
