George Roby Large Muted Pink Spotted Bowl
This handmade pottery piece was expertly studio crafted using the "Raku" firing technique by master potter, George Roby. This bowl has an asymmetrical form and is glazed a beautiful muted pink and gray with a splattering of brown spots. Signed "GR" on the bottom of the piece (please see photos for details).
Provenance: Acquired from the personal collection of George Roby - George Roby was a potter and sculptor with works featured in the collections of the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Everson Museum, Butler Institute of American Art, the Columbus Museum of Fine Art, and the Ohio Craft Museum.

Condition:
There is a slight fissure that has been repaired on the side of the bowl (please see photos for details). However, this does not take away from the beauty or structural integrity of this piece. Otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
